Welcome to my Page. This page is about School level Physics and Basic Observational Astronomy. Once in a blue Moon, I shall be sharing some posts on social issues though.
Today I'm going to share with you few snapshots of the Moon taken during the Full Moon on 11th August. The indigenous tribes of North America and Canada viz. Tlingit, Ojibwe, Anishinaabe, Dakota, Assiniboine etc. had given some beautiful names to the Full Moons occurring in each month. It was thousands years back. Some such beautiful names given to the August Full Moon were Sturgeon Moon, Corn Moon, Black Berries Moon etc.
